Asish, Abhishek, Rupali, Akash ( house keeping) , Anamika, Praveen, Rupa ( check in), and the naturalists, shanmugam and vishnu were the best! Hospitality, food quality, service were the
Best we have experienced across globe. Shanmugam’s knowledge of the forest, animals, birds is another level. Vishnu was a wonderful safari host who showed a great deal of the foresf and the animals. Thank you to all the staff. We will be back. They deserve a 12 out of 10 rating

The pictures of Orange County do not do it justice. We stayed in a pool hut and it was fantastic. The room was beautifully furnished and a huge size and the poll was just the icing on the cake in our own private courtyard. The staff and naturalists were all extreemly friendly and helpful and the food in the grill bar was delicious. beautiful place in a beautiful location - a real slice of luxury would highly reconed to anyone looking for a luxury escape.
We took a three night break being driven from and to Bengaluru (5 hours) by hired driven vehicle. This enabled us to take an early morning land safari on one day and an afternoon boat safari the following afternoon. The hotel is at the side of a reservoir that begins to dry up in the dry season (March/April) forcing the wild animals from the Nagahole Reserve to come down to drink. We saw no tigers but the land safari the following day were luckier. We did see otters, wild cattle, many deer, monkeys and a leopard at the lake edge. It caters mainly for Indians but we were not the only expats - I suspect that the international travel agents have not yet caught on to it. Food is mainly Indian buffet but there is an international waiter served grill room - all is inclusive except only one safari fro a three day booking - extras are Rs2,000 for foreigners or Rs1,000 for Indians.
Accommodation is fantastic in individual 'huts' each with lounge, bedroom, bathroom and internal private jacuzzi. Larger rooms have their own internal small swimming pool.
Staff attention is good but occasionally over whelming (all the staff at reception stand up each time you pass)
If you want an away from it all holiday in a beautiful setting between two of India's best nature reserves with first class service then this is for you. It's worth every penny.
