Nice hotel in a quiet area. Service level goes from world class to mediocre…and only check in staff speak (some) english, nothing strange, it’s China after all. Room very nice, got a corner room with great views. What gives me mixed feelings is, despite I have elite status at Marriot I could not get access to the executive lounge since I booked through Expedia…and the bar closed at 8 and no bars to speak of in the surrounding area. And the breakfast…I expect coffee to be served by the table at a location like this…very noisy and only coffee mugs for all drinks..could not find a proper drinking glass any where and ask someone is meaningless. Food and options are decent but nothing special. Would I stay here again? Most likely if price is right.

The morning breakfast buffet was great, with a good selection and attentive staff. The concierge was also helpful in hailing/booking a taxi. However, considering my extended stay, the hotel apparently had a large amount of connecting rooms with terrible sound proof. During the first 6 nights of my stay, I I could hear my next door guest talking/laughing/unpacking until late hours of the night/early hours of the morning. This was really disruptive and half way during my stay, esp. considering this was a business trip. I had to pack/unpack and change room at 1am in the morning.
