This is a little boutique hotel that is very sweet! It seemed a little strange that the check-in was a few buildings down the street. That's also where breakfast was served. The accompanying restaurant was across the street built on decking over the water. The food served at this restaurant was first class! We spent three nights there and I would not hesitate to return there!
I really enjoyed this hotel. The room was simple, but clean with a high ceiling. The best part is the location. You are on water, so you walk outside and see the sea. It feels like your home on the sea. The house keeper gave us great recommendations on beaches and patiently explained how to get there.
We were just staying the night so we could catch an early flight from Trapani. It exceeded our needs, as we stayed in a spacious, clean and air conditioned apartment. It was nice to be able to spread out after staying in one room with 4 people the other nights of our trip. Wish we would have had more time to stay. Restaurant was excellent; it is on a dock outside and we sat right at the edge and were able to watch the fish jump and play in the lights of the restaurant. My girls loved it. They also opened breakfast for us early that morning so we could get the to airport in plenty of time. I'm a very easygoing person when it comes to travel and where I stay, so if you're very picky, don't stay here. The GPS took us to the wrong place, the neighborhood is rundown (ala Sicily) and the air conditioner leaked. But saying that, we rolled with it and loved it.

A small establishment with a few apartments very clos to the beach. We had a quite simple apartment with kitchen and 4 beds for 4 adults, the rooms were clean. It was very close to the sea, if you want long sandy beaches with rental umbrellas and services, these could be found within 10 min walking distance from the hotel. Clean hotel but the apartment we had was a bit worn down, another of their apartments was more renovated with nicer garden/sunchairs but was not suited for 4 adults (2 children + 2 adults would have worked fine). Breakfast was served at the restaurant just on the beach, different small buffe every day. There was no safety box in the room, even though we asked them to fix it for us, it never happened during the 4 days stay, so that was annyoying. I could recommend this hotel if you want a simple apartment (would rate it as 3 star) that has good value for money, close to the beach in a relaxed area, no other services close by however, but by car you get to Trapani in 15-20 minutes.

Sunset Beach - well that lived up to its name (due west pointing, opposite the Egadi Islands !) Quiet area (no other shops / hotels etc.) but pleasant location directly across from the beach / sea. Good value and excellent newish and modern beach style accommodation (smallish) with lovely private outside seating area with loungers, seating and subdued lighting. Beach club (100m away from accommodation fortunately - whilst DJ was entertaining) has chilled music , reasonable restaurant and very good service. Romantic place to watch the sunset. Close to Trapani Airport but the accommodation is not blighted by flight noise.
Stayed for 2 nights in early May, originally due to proximity of Airport and lateness of flight arrivals. Accommodaton looked lovely on Expedia photos so decided to give it a go.
We were not disappointed in what we saw behind the big gate!
Lovely large comfortablerooms an sun terrace courtyard. Unfortunately weather was not pleasant enough to take advantage of facilities, but they were of good standard and quality.
The family and staff were extremely welcoming , helpful and friendly.
We will return for sure
