The room (esp bathroom) needed a lot more hooks/surfaces for potentially four people (two queen beds) to put their things on.

The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is not a quaint B&B but rather a motel that has been recently renovated. The room and furniture were in good condition. At their regular prices, the hotel is quite reasonable. However, they raise their price by more than double for Smith College reunion. That inflated price is extremely high given the nature of the property.
